What Went Well in 2013?
We celebrated the coming of the New Year in a truly unique fashion. As the world said goodbye to 2013, we came up with a novel idea to say farewell. As we said goodbye to As the year dawned, the visitors at 360 Mall gathered to think about the things that went well for them the past year, wrote on stickers and posted them on the wall, a total of 2013 different posts were stuck completing a collage that said “2013”. Each person who shared with us his or her reason for 2013 being a good year got a special wrist band, a reminder to focus on the things that went well. The activity was part of the What Went Well campaign that encouraged people to look at the good aspects of the year and to go forward in a more positive mind frame.
Our plan was to encourage people this 2014 to cultivate a habit to look back at each day and search for the positives. We all are bound to have days where it all goes wrong, and that is when this practice will save us from being pulled into the vortex of negativity and uncertainty.
