After the successful first Think Work Live Positive in 2014, we at Alnowair came back with a bigger and better second edition, Think Work Live Positive 2015. Some of the world’s brightest minds and hearts from the field of positive psychology unveiled to us the secret key to a positive happier life.
The Return Of Think Work Live Positive!
On the 18th of April 2015, at PAAET’s Basic Education College, the curtains were raised for the second time on the biggest and most ambitious conference on positivity in the GCC – Alnowair’s Think Work Live Positive. Over 600 people from all walks of life attended the conference over the 2 days.
This year’s conference was headlined by Dr. Joe Vitale famous for his role in the movie – The Secret and author of innumerable best-selling books such as – Zero Limits, At Zero, The Key among many more. The world’s only self-help singer and performer appearing in the Middle East for the very first time, Dr. Joe inspired the audience with an emotional recounting of his life story and showed them how if he could move on from being homeless to achieving great things in life, they could do it too. He also spoke about the things positive people do, and the habits one should cultivate in order to live a satisfied happy life.
The conference also saw the return of the audience’s favorite speaker from the first edition, Dr. Adam Fraser, who proved once again to be the immensely likeable, endearing and funny. His anecdotal seminar showed people how they can utilize time and create a Third Space in their lives to maintain harmony between work life and home. His undeniable energy and enthusiasm enthralled the audiences, who were moved from laughter to applause all during the talk. He captivated audiences on the second day as well with an in depth workshop on how we can embrace struggle and learn from it.
Dr. Sonja Lybumirsky, author of best-selling How of Happiness and a scientist by profession gave her insights and shared her knowledge on how happiness works and how one can be happier. She spoke of experiments conducted by her team and how the results showed the right tools one can use to be happier. She gave an in-depth analysis of her experiments during her workshop on the second day as well.
This was the second edition of Think Work Live Positive, and it can be safely said that the conference has grown in scale and stature attracting audiences in the hundreds from all over the region, starting from where it left off last year. The conference was a tremendous success with over 600 people attending the event during the 2 days. It would not have been possible without the amazing support of the sponsors - PAAET, Kuwait Finance House, IAA – Kuwait Chapter, Ph7, Eventat and all the amazing volunteers who gave their time and effort to make the event a pleasant and memorable experience for all the attendees.
As the curtains came down on the most successful conference of the year, we can rest assured that Think Work Live Positive will be back next year bigger, better and more comprehensive.
