As millions across the world celebrated the very first International Day of Happiness established by the UN, we at Alnowair played our own part. On the 20th of March 2013, in a rundown building, Alnowair bloomed! We organized a 4 day interactive exhibit where visitors experienced positivity through small deeds and activities.
Our guests were engaged in various actions whose goal was to evoke an inner positive feeling. Writing their worries on a balloon and letting it go, posting notes about what they are thankful for or drawing their symbol of happiness were just some of them.
Visitors also had a chance to be part of a collaborative art act, look at situation from different perspective therefore discover that each negative has it’s positive side, they also rediscovered the fun of hopscotch and learned the benefits of placing a pencil between their teeth. The reception was overwhelming, people participated, people smiled and most of all people left the building filled with positivity ready to spread it.
